Dear
Mr. Sehgal
Mr.
Jamal Hussain, in his recent article, “Beware
of the American Armageddon” brought up some
concerns and questions. Furthermore, he suggested
a security model for Pakistan.
Model:
If
this approach is to be considered, it has three main
points.
1-
Pakistan’s security parameters will be defined
by the “strength or weakness of its economy”.
2-
Asymmetrical configuration of Pakistan forces. (at
least few divisions).
3-
SLBMs (submarine launched ballistic missiles).
In
order to successfully implement his security model,
Pakistan needs a “composite formulation”
and a “retention time”.
The
basis of the security parameters is the strength of
the economy which is directly proportional to the
political infra-structure of the country.
That
is why it is very important to have opposition on
board, regardless, how they got there to begin with
Mr. Seghal, apparently the model seems discernible
though several of its components are complex enough
to have attention of your contributors.
Best
regards
Kadar
