Dear Mr. Sehgal
Mr. M. Aslam Beg, in his opinion, “Why non-proliferation
has failed” once again proved that press is
liberated in Pakistan. Somehow, Mr. Beg has the
ability to shake foreign office by its foundations
considering if foreign office realizes what just
hit them. Ex-Army chief, not long ago, whose name
was out in nuclear proliferation crisis few months
later turned around making a case for Iran.
It would probably make more sense if his opinion
is in sync with current administration. His analysis
accepting non-proliferation has failed will not
help policy makers in Islamabad! Moreover, following
points from Mr. Beg’s opinion published in
Daily Dawn will create complications for administration....more

Dear Mr. Sehgal
Mr. Jamal Hussain’s opinion rightfully and
timely brought up a concerning issue of F-16’s
for revival.
“Should the US supply F-16’s? The
US needs a stable Pakistan! While government is
cooperating fully with America, people are not
very supportive of government actions.”(J.Hussain)
“Winning the hearts and minds of the Pakistani
public is in the larger interest of the US as
only then will the government’s effort in
wiping out the remnants of al-Qaeda from the Pakistan/Afghanistan

Dear Ikram ul-Majeed Sehgal
After all Altaf Bhai has come out in his true colours.
Addressing a seminar in New Delhi arranged by Hindustan
Times the Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader, Altaf
Hussain stunned his audience at an international
conference on Friday November 5th, declaring that
the “idea of Pakistan was dead at its inception.”
He wants India to open its doors to every Mohajir,
who went to Pakistan after the partition. “I
appeal to the politicians here to forgive the people
who left and let them return. Perhaps the idea of
Pakistan was dead at its inception, when the majority
of Muslims chose to stay back after partition”,
